| in a little test app i am adding text to a text buffer like so:
buff.insert(buff.get_end_iter(), "text.")
now when i use a if statement like this:
if(var==None): buff.insert(buff.get_end_iter(), "text.") else: buff.insert(buff.get_end_iter(), "text2.")
both text. and text2. get printed to the buffer, what am i doing wrong here?

| You try putting a print statement below each to print out all variable values?
