| | anybody using it? does it have the equivelent of enterprise manager yet? what are the advantages / disadvantages over sql 2000? I want to be able to execute an SQL script in c# and noticed it's possible in 2005 but not 2000 so i'm wondering if now is the time to give it a go.

| | Work with it every day Management studio is 10x better than enterprise manager.. (Scripting pretty much every single object there is in your database, nicer syntax coloring just to name a few) MSSQL2005 also has proper support for recursion, which I find a big plus. Other than that there's some speed tweaks here and there and overall it feels better. The query designer is wank as ever so just don't use that. (SQL) Server-side cache invalidation is also rather cool, if a bastard to set up. Make sure you upgrade to SP2 on both the client tools and the server version of it, actually makes a huge difference. I do wonder what the script is though, some obscure syntax? |

| | We hardly ever talk on ICQ i'm never on it, and i don't think wax is either. The script was just generated from a database, i wanted an easy way of dynamicly creating clones of an existing database.
