Anyone know some good ones that work ...not that give you errors in the docs after every restore and so on
Please say you do
I really need a good one to take a relative out of a shit pile
God damn idiots from a company were reinstalling windows and formated without saving the data

been through about 20 so far
found one that's worth it
Stellar Phoenix NTFS and FAT32 data recovery for windows
I am still searching for a crack ..it recovered the most but does not let me save it without a crack would seem that it's the best

Easy Recovery Professional is a good one. Has a filter for after the recovery process that allows you to have it show only undamaged files.

Not a bad program. Recovery from a format is much easier / more accurate when you know how fragmented the drive is to begin with. The heavier the fragmentation the less likely it is for the data to be recovered.

nasty part is the data was just deleted and the comp left alone and all progs i used had trouble getting good data back
