So 'tis my birthday. And I wouldn't have made a post cause I feel ashamed no one remembered me...this is the roundup.
I went to bed at 2.30am only to be awaken by someone screaming from outside. (I thought it was some farmer)

I tried to sleep through it but the person kept sleeping. So I walked my ass to the window only to see some guy in the driveway laying on the ground yelling for help. I run downstairs, open the door. A fucking car is a few meters away from my house, upside down and in flames. I run back inside, call the police and ambulance.

I fuckin' run to the guy, who turns out to be this guy that I know. I get to him and he tells me his friends are on the street. I walk past the gate and I see one of his buddies laying there, motionless, and as I get closer. His head bashed open from the back and his brains are literally outside, I turn to the front to see who it is...his face is beyond recognition.

I look around and there's bodies everywhere, a total of 5 guys were in a Mitsubishi Pajero. They're split up in all different directions, all motionless except for my buddy. And trust me, it is not a situation where you can try CPR.
I run to get my car and get him into it and drive him to the hospital. On the way to the hospital I see the ambulance coming opposite us...anyways. To make a long story short. I knew 2 of the 5 guys.

The 2 that I know survived the accident, the other three were killed on scene. But one of the guys is still in operation, ruptured spleen and massive head injuries, as well as a brain hemorrhage. I doubt he'll be the same again, if he survives.

Needless to say, DUI and of course speeding like hell. Let's not forget, none of them were wearing seatbelts which could've probably saved their lives.

So...how do you go on celebrating a day like this? If my buddy makes it through, it'll be a lot easier. But I doubt he will.

Glad to see you all still alive and kicking and up to no good. I have popped in to ask if any of you kind souls had time to do a favor that would make some first graders real happy. Its a Flat stanley project, many of you may have heard of him. He is a character from a kids book who gets smashed flat but its cool because he can go anywhere via mail now. So these school kids mail him out and people take him on adventures to local events or land marks and take his picture there and send the pictures back so the kids learn about people and places far away via Stanleys travels. Would any of you be up to printing the picture of him and cutting it out and getting some snap shots for me this week? It would make some first graders very very happy and it would just be a really cool thing to do hanging out with a little paper guy and all. Let me know if you can help and I will send you Stanley to print out. Thanks Guys!

Police have sent out a hoax drugs warning to schools over a fake drug called "strawberry meth".

The warning said that the drug was being given to children outside their school gates.

At least 80 schools in west Oxfordshire received an e-mail warning, leading to some holding special assemblies.

"One of our officers, who is new to his post, received the e-mail internally in good faith and forwarded it on to the schools in West Oxfordshire to warn them.

OK, so I bought World in Conflict and it was worth the money. I mean, for the online gameplay as well as the game itself.

I went and downloaded Call of Duty 4 because I wasn't gonna be playing it online. (with 1000ms ping times, it's not worth it). Anyway, so I played this game for 2 nights and I finished it. I mean, I seriously thought I was just half-way through the game it was DONE before I began to master the game.

So...my rant is. I actually felt ripped off, even though I got it for free. All that bandwidth gone to waste. Are games becoming shorter or what the hell? I remember playing Metal Gear Solid for a whole week straight before completing it. Most games for more than 2 days at least! Gameplay and graphics are awesome, but...it just finished too quickly.
